The Intern Educational Program at Summa Western Reserve Hospital is broad and comprehensive, emphasizing both bedside treatment and ambulatory care. Our internships are 12 months in length, beginning with a thorough orientation at which interns learn what will be expected of them and what they can expect from the attending staff and administration. Our clinical curriculum for interns includes general surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, anesthesiology and adult psychiatry.
